Jon McLaughlin Portland Concert reviews
Venue needs to step up their game
Tom Johnstone, at 73, is STILL a high energy dude! The concert itself was awesome, from the Doobies last encore song through the opening act. 4th time seeing these guys, all the way back to 1975!
The problem was the venue. When popcorn and soft pretzels are your only choices, it makes eating dinner before the show a challenge. The lines for what passed as food were incredibly long, offerings were slim, prices were high.
They could have had more vendors step up with food on the summerfest grounds. And the weird part is that they would have done great with sales.
